That song is badass! Great to hear from you old friend. Haven't seen you in over 20 years, but hearing the music takes me back to 1997 all over again....
Thank you for sharing. The melancholia and nostalgia of your writing reverberates in my soul. Automatic visualizations and I even caught a phantasmal whiff of my long departed dad's Old Spicey redolence. Can't wait to get the remastered! Love this song, and Found my Center is my favorite from Dislocation.
Always great writing! Like your lyrics, you seem to have this way of articulati ng thoughts and feelings that are so relatable. So cool that you have all those old tapes too. I play Each little mystery, Times like these, Lucky and Hammer to Stone all the time for friends and at jams. Folks still say who's that? I love to tell them. There's so much more to you and 7m3 than just Cumbersome. Thanks for the inspiration JR.
I also spent the early part of this summer cleaning out the family house. Definitely one of life's milestones. For me the main labor was tens of thousands of my father's slide photographs.
That being said...I felt like dis/location never got the appreciation it deserved...and I would love to know more about recording in athens..I miss you guys so much. I miss the monkey business shows, and the shows everywhere else but there was no business like monkey buisness...
A lot of great memories in that house for sure...

I pass a little white cross everytime I take my dog to the park. It always makes me think of the great Dan Bern song Crosses.
So many unheard goodies in that room (Path Your On, Build A Fence, Play Your Games, Abernathy???? etc)....hope they will see the light some day.

Dis/location is a fantastic album. Listen to most of it often. Nice story but certainly sad and something I will be experiencing some day.

Dear Classic rock radio,
You need more Jeff Tweedy in your life...
Sincerely,
Uncle Tupelo
This question may have been asked an answered so if it was I apologize, but why doesn’t Spotify have the complete discography of 7m3?
Looking forward to the remastered album. Will that remaster make it to the bandcamp page to purchase digitally too?
