This guy really could write anything. I get that he’s a songwriter but more so he is a storyteller. I look forward to reading his bts stories. Would read pretty much anything he wrote.

Best thing I’ve read on the internet in quite a while. It’s incredible how many lives that song has touched, and in some cases, molded. I will be grateful to you for writing that song, and for all of the opportunities that it has afforded, as long as I breathe.

My band has been covering Cumbersome for years now.

I have no talent for songwriting, just grateful to pass on someone else's great talent for a few minutes.

I’ve asked a lot of popular artists the question of how they feel when they sing a song that was generated decades ago—from their younger self.

Does it have meaning anymore? Do you have any identity with it ? Do you think about that younger self’s mentality when you wrote it? Etc.

Everyone seems to have a similar answer but no one has answered it in the complete and clear manner that you have here.

Thank you

Appreciate your ongoing commitment to your fans

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, my brother and I was one of those people that drove from NY to FLa (more than 600 miles) to hear a few songs that were probably not alive to you guys anymore. But we wouldn’t have known as you guys did kill it !

JR -- thanks for posting a short glimpse into your reality -- very interesting to read......especially after (as a forester,) listening to the churn expanded release --- during hours & hours of windshield time driving the mountains.... as well as jamming to all 7M3 albums over the past 30 years -- forever an admirer

Keep the posts coming.
